About

about me.

My name is Adriana-Mirabela, and my creative journey began with music. For the first seven years of my studies, I immersed myself in singing and playing the piano. While I loved music deeply, I felt the urge for a different form of self-expression. This longing led me to enroll in an art lyceum, where I discovered a new and powerful language: the visual arts.

After high school, I pursued my passion further at the Academy of Music, Theater, and Fine Arts, specializing in graphics. There, I discovered engraving—a technique that captivated me so much that I dedicated my Bachelor's and Master's studies to mastering it.

Today, my paintings reflect the breadth of knowledge I’ve gained from the field of graphics, allowing me to create works that resonate with me deeply. Stylistically, I’m drawn to the interplay of abstract and figurative elements, exploring their boundaries. My recent artworks often take the form of stylized landscapes that balance between painting and graphic art.

What fascinates me most is how an artwork is perceived as a whole—the impression created by its shapes, lines, colors, and textures. My creative process is guided by experimentation with new techniques, which sparks fresh ideas and drives my evolution as an artist. When it comes to color, I am particularly interested in subtle nuances, monochromatic palettes, and delicate vibrations. These choices allow me to achieve a contemplative, introspective quality in my work, inviting viewers to pause and reflect.
